FIRE PREVENTION (TREES & PLANTS)

We will work with you to keep your property safe and in compliance with local laws.

Local laws require that vegetation within 100 feet of all structures meet certain guidelines. You may plant fire-resistant, irrigated landscaping in the first 50 feet from your structure. From 50 feet to 100 feet, plants need to be thinned and cut back to no more than 6 inches above the ground. This may need to be done several times per year because the plants will grow back. Roots need to be left intact to help prevent erosion.
